Community Inclusion and Advocacy
Community Inclusion and Advocacy opportunities are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend to provide opportunities for people who receive services to explore and enhance their leisure interests and social skills through planned activities in the community. People who are eligible to receive services through the Ashtabula County Board of Developmental Disabilities may attend.

Our Board meets monthly on the third Thursday at 6:00 P.M. Board meetings are held in the Community Room located at 2505 South Ridge Road East, Ashtabula, Ohio.
Our volunteer Board is passionate about being the community resource to change perceptions about children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Provider Trainings
The Ashtabula County Board of Developmental Disabilities provides free trainings to agency and independent providers who serve people in Ashtabula County. Classes include Initial Training, Annual Training, CPR/First Aid Training, Initial Medication Administration 1, Initial Medication Administration 2 & 3 and Renewal Medication Administration 1, 2 & 3.

The Ashtabula County Board of Developmental Disabilities hosts monthly Provider Meetings to support independent and agency providers. Provider Meetings are by invitation only. If you are interested in attending a meeting, please contact our Quality and Community Outreach team.
