Male, living in Andover, is looking for staffing Wednesday-Friday, 7am-3pm. He has a cecostomy tube that a nurse cares for. If it would fall out, staff would need to call 911 immediately. He has seizures occasionally so seizure protocol will need to be followed. He needs assistance with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Staff should show him how to complete a task and encourage him to help as well. Staff will support him by ensuring all medical appointments are followed up on, transport him to and from appointments and encourage him to ask questions to his medical practitioners. He needs assistance in taking the correct medications daily at a specific time. He needs help going to the grocery store and being actively involved in community activities. Laundry should be done weekly or more often if needed to ensure clean linens. It is important to him to have support to do the things he enjoys including caring for his animals, fishing, being involved in his community. It is important for him to be on time with his medications and not miss any doses. He should be encouraged to speak openly and not feel pressured by others into making any decisions. Med certification 1 is needed. Requested start date is ASAP.
