Ashtabula County Board of Developmental Disabilities

An 18 year old female, living in N. Kingsville with a Level One Waiver, is looking for HPC + HPC Transportation. The schedule would be 15 hours a week in the summer (typically 3 five hour shifts) and 6-10 hours a week (typically 2 hours a day after school) during the school year. She has 500 miles per span. She likes to get out into the community, go to events, out to eat, board social inclusion activities, Special Olympics, and much more. Her parents are supportive of this and they ensure staff have money when they work to take her out of the house. She is able to go to the bathroom on her own, eats on her own, and takes her own medication. She sometimes needs support in completing homework, or working on workbook assignments to practice her writing skills, and signing her name. She is outgoing, fun, loves to swim, very athletic, and really likes boys. She needs reminders for personal boundaries at times, and help with reminding her of her chores in the home. She can fixate on things if they are bothering her and needs reminders to let it go, encouragement, and re-direction.
