Male, living in Ashtabula, age 16, is wheelchair dependent. He lives in a home with 5 front steps and needs a ramp to enter and exit home daily. No temporary/portable ramp can be used without an unsafe incline. Until this can be done, we are seeking staff to help mom carry him down steps in the AM to get onto the bus for school, and then again in the afternoon to help get him into the home after he gets off the bus. He weighs 122 pounds. He has a transfer sling to help with carrying him. This will be 5-10 hours per week (Monday-Friday at 7:15am and again at 2:30pm)
