The requested modification to the individual's existing van will allow the caregiver, the individual's mom, to safely transport the individual while accommodating the individual's current mobility and accessibility needs. The individual is bed/wheelchair bound and unable to stand. The modification will improve the individual's ability to enter, exit, and be safely secured in the vehicle, as applicable, and will support continued access to community activities, appointments, and other necessary transportation.
