Anyone who has concerns of abuse or neglect happening to a person with developmental disabilities can call the Ashtabula County Board of DD Investigative Services & Support Department at (440) 335-1655. Outside normal business hours, call (440) 812-0553. Incidents involving suspected abuse or neglect can be reported to the Ohio DODD at (800) 617-6733.

Incidents can be reported anonymously or you can ask that the investigator keep your name anonymous.

All developmental disabilities providers and staff serving individuals are mandated reports, required to report suspected, alleged, or actual incidents of abuse or neglect as well as other Major Unusual Incidents (MUIs).
